The Popover

Let’s dive deeper into all of the awesome options you have per task.

Here we have the users tab, use this to notify users about this task. The users listed here are based on the roles that you allowed to leave comments which was set in the wizard or in the settings.

For this task, let’s notify the client.

Next, you can choose the urgency of the task on this nifty little slider. This is communicated in real-time to your PRO dashboard.

The next tab is where you can choose the status of this task. A new task is set to open by default, but as you begin working on it, you can mark it as in progress or pending review. This will notify all of the users you chose in the first tab of any changes to the task (handy for letting your client’s know that something is finished by checking it as complete.

By default when creating a new task WP FeedBack PRO will generate an automated screenshot of the current view of the user who is creating the task. We can also click this button to generate a new screenshot based on our view.

Through the additional information tab we can add custom tags. For example: this could be a future task, choose from previously created tags and hit enter to publish it. We can also see the screen resolution for when the task was created as well as the browser and the user that created the task.

There is also the option to delete the task, though we recommend setting the status to Complete as it’s good to keep records of your communications with clients, always!

And finally, we can share the exact location of this task.
Clicking here will save the task location to my clipboard.
When the other side will open this link, it will open the relevant page with our front end login popup, which can be branded with your or your client’s logo and scroll to exactly where the task is.
Removing the need for multiple clicks going through the WordPress admin screens.

You can strip this part from the URL by clicking on the checkbox to remove the login parameter. This will stop the login pop-up from triggering when your client clicks on the page. Use this with guest mode on so your client can still give you feedback without needing to login.

From the popover, we can also upload files, images or documents. Let’s upload an image.

This image is now inside the WordPress media folder, making sure you have easy access when you need it for your design.
