Everything I have gone through when it comes to tasks on the front-end, can also be applied to the WordPress admin!
This can be turned off in the settings of WP FeedBack PRO should you not need it. While it’s on, you will see the plus and sidebar icon on the right hand side.
This can be used on any admin page in the back-end, it can’t however be used inside a page builder. This is due to tasks having difficulty staying pinned because of div ID’s constantly changing.
Backend comments provide a great solution for training your client or other users about different parts of the WordPress admin experience or additinal functionality thay was added and needs some explaining.
For examle let’s use WP FeedBack pro to train users on how to use Gutenberg.
We can drop in a youtube link to embed a video in our task.
Since out tool inspects the exact URL when attaching a task, this will only show when users create a new post.
Pretty cool right?
